Julia C.C. Chiang is a Certified Biomimicry Specialist. She helped to found Biomimicry Taiwan and serves as Secretary General. Working with the President, she is responsible for creating, planning, communicating, implementing, and integrating the strategic direction of the organization and in addition, to build trust relations with key domestic and international partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders. Biomimicry Taiwan is now part of thirty-six global biomimicry networks. To spread the meme and promote biomimicry applications in Taiwan, she has implemented various programs, from annual forum, interdisciplinary salon, workshops and Biomimicry Global Design Challenge Taiwan Competition. To support R&D teams and companies and provide biomimicry inspiration when developing innovation strategies, she introduces Biomimicry Design Thinking and Life’s Principles in a systematic way. Before joining the organization, she worked in a biomimicry agricultural company. She also has nearly fifteen years experiences in the media and public relation industries, when serving as Director of PR agency, her clients were mainly from international ICT companies.
